powerspcnorth: I teach computer applications, accounting and web design at Putnam City North High School. I have been at PC North since 2004. In the past, I have taught introduction to business, business law, keyboarding, desktop publishing (yearbook and newspaper) and was the work study coordinator and assistant track coach in KS. I did my student teaching at PC North the fall of 2000 and graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma December 2000. I taught one semester in Blackwell, two years in Kansas, one year in Lawton (Title I), Elgin (math and library) and Caddo-Kiowa Technology Center in Ft. Cobb and Carnegie (adult night classes) and then back to PC North. I work in the summers and evenings in the business world. The opportunities I have had outside of education have made me a better teacher. I also enjoy volunteering with the redbud and have volunteered with CASA, OK Business Week camp, and the Metropolitan Library book sale. When not working, I *LOVE* playing tennis.
